International Day of Women and Girls in Science - mini-profiles of women working in science at the University of Groningen 5

Inspired by the fact that it will be the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on the 11th of February, and by this post from the York Structural Biology Laboratory, I will be uploading mini profiles of women in science working at the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands, where I also work.

The goal of these mini-profiles is to show the diversity of women in science, to provide role models and to increase visibility.

The fifth profile is of Assistant Professor Sonja Billerbeck. I hope that you will enjoy this and the rest of the series!
